This title brings together in one place the majority of the tunes, forty-five in all, written by Jon since the beginning of his involvement with traditional music, with the exception of the music for Moebius and Zephyrus which have been or will be published elsewhere.
Many of the tunes were written in the context of playing with Blowzabella and became part of the band's repertoire; others were inspired by Jon's partnership with accordionist Becky Price.
All the tunes were conceived on or for the bagpipes made by Jon; half of these are clearly 'drone tunes', whereas the other half really need a harmonic accompaniment, and for most of these, chords are given.
All this is enhanced by ample textual commentary and illustrative photos.
